Announcement!
Hello and Happy New Year,
I am thrilled to announce the launch of a brand new offering, years in the making.
Most of the time, the kitchen offers me a place to quiet my mind, shut out the noise of the outside world and exist in the present moment. I find the kitchen to be the mindfulness practice that I return to over and over again.
But, it hasn’t always been this way. At times (and sometimes, even still), I found the kitchen to be overwhelming, the fear of making a mistake looms large and that can exacerbate my anxiety. However, when I choose to continue on, I find that I fall into a rhythm and place that soothes me, with my hands immersed in the dough or batter, focused on the task at hand, my shoulders soften, my breath slows and I fall into ease and joy.
Over the years, I have learned that what happens inside the kitchen supports me outside of the kitchen.
Beginning Saturday, January 24th I am teaching a 4 part series of baking classes at Bakeshop!
The series is limited to 7 bakers (experienced or not).
They will be part talk, part demo and part hands on.
I invite you to join me.

I’d be honored to share this space with you.
With love, Kim
